Aplikasi Sistem Pakar Berbasis Case Based Reasoning Untuk Diagnosa Awal Penyakit Gigi Dan Mulut

Abstract

Teeth and mouth play an important role in the human body. However, the awareness and behavior of the Indonesian people towards oral care is still inadequate. This is reflected in the high rate of tooth decay and dental disease in Indonesia which continues to increase. Expert systems, also known as knowledge-based systems, are computer applications designed to assist in decision-making and problem-solving in a particular field. The methods used in expert systems can vary, one of which is the Case Based Reasoning method. This method aims to solve problems by referring to solutions from similar cases that have occurred before. Through the tests conducted, the diagnosis results from the expert were compared with the results obtained from the expert system. The results show an accuracy rate of 90%, indicating that the expert system using the Case Based Reasoning method is able to identify oral and dental diseases well.
